Episode 27: Comings And Goings, Since it's back on BBC2...

What are your favourite parts of this episode? How well do you think it introduced the plot of the third series? :)

I'll be posting my thoughts a little later on, but now I have work to do. :yawn:

My most favourite part is the whole Trey getting annoyed with the Weasels scene. Why? Because I often say Trey's quotes from this episode to my parents when they make noises I don't like. I'm not sure how well the episode introduced the plot

Trey and the weasels too.

Owl and weasels leaving plus Bully and his rats showing up, as well as Trey and the Great Whitte Stag's death. Those are the key plot points of the series and it was important to put them in the first episode.

My favourite part is plucky's and dash's race and fox cheers on plucky but dash still wins thanks to weasel

Yeah I liked the race, brought back alot of memories when I first saw it.

lots of action, i like the way it took just a few seconds to get going again! and i think its the first time i've seen ep1 of s3.

Weasel going on about her "condition" was hilarious. :lol: And her coversation with Owl ("insulting my little ones when they aren't even BORN yet!") was definately one of her finest moments. Infact, there's lots of quote-worthy lines in this episode! But my two favourites...

"I wish I'd never set eyes on you! What did I need a mate for anyway?! Look what you've done to me!"

"I'm Sinuous."
"So am I."
"No, no, no, it's my name. Sinuous."
"Very apt, I'm sure."

This is a good episode. I noticed that Adder didn't say "shucks" like she did in the first episodes of S1 and S2. That's why we have fanfiction :P . Measly seemed oblivious to Weasel shouting at him :lol: . Poor Mossy kept getting stepped on, and then Whistler landed on him :rofl: . I like the "condition" thing and the "Look what you've done to me!" thing. Excuse me, Weasel, but YOU were part of it!

I mostly watch this episode for Adder and Sinuous :rolleyes: . A flat out sweet scene. From the moment you see Sinuous come out of the bushes, he has so much love in his voice-as if he fell in love with her first and was watching her. I enjoyed seeing that look of love on Adder's face after Toad leaves-something you don't see often.

It was funny/sweet when Sinuous introduced himself to Adder. It was cute how Adder was waving her tail around as she says, "Ssso am I". I wonder if that means anything in "snake language", may I call it. Their "love theme" or what ever you want to call it is really beautiful. It's amazing how it's hinted in the music that's already playing, and then how it ends with their theme.

It is a good episode. And also 1 of the better ones in Series 3 with normal animation, which actually improved on that of Series 2.
