Only that he was killed by the Big cat in the book, The Siege of White Deer Park. He went to search for the Cat with Friendly who's leading the group with Ranger, Pace Rusty and Trip (Ranger's Cousin). The Cat picked up Husky carried him up the tree and then dropped to his death. I thought Husky was Pluckys Dad but it mentioned in the book he didn't have a mate so Whisper Must have had more than 1 cub

Poor Husky had one of the most harrowing deaths in all the books. No wonder they never adapted the story for the TV series.

Who gets the uncanny feeling that they didn't use anything in the TV show from the books? i mean, take series two for example, bold runs away right after getting a good telling off from his father for wandering into the blue fox territory, whereas in the books he doesn't go off on his own adventure until he was a little older!

That is the point of an adaptation, to change things to suit the series. If they hadn't of done that then we would have had several episodes of just Bold's adventure.

yeah but they'd also have more episodes to play with and more stuff that they could do...like charmer and ranger having cubs  and basically if they had a few more episodes in all the series they coulda bin able to do quite a lot! ^_^

Making 13 episodes a season takes long enough

A lot of TV series run for 13 episodes as it makes up a quarter of a year, hence the word 'season'. Although a TV season can refer to any series that runs for 13 episodes or longer.

They do? That's a new one on me. Thanks for that random piece of information there ... I'm sure it'll come in handy one day.

It is a series. Any TV show that runs for more than 2 episodes is a series. A TV show that runs for 13 episodes or more per series runs in 'seasons'. 'Seasons' is more of an american term which in recent years has started to be used in the UK.

How very confusing...I always thought that FW was a series and so I called it that. It's only since I joined this chat room that I started using the word season more often, which is hardly surprising when you consider the amount of posts that you read through containing that word.

It IS a series, with 3 seasons. Series or Season you can use either word to describe the 3 series.

Seires = Season they both mean the same.

As for Husky's death yeah is was harrowing but it was also short, and it probably wouldnt have happened if Friendly hadnt been so up for getting the big cat.
