It is a toughy. I think Germany may win or even Russia. Russia has done well so far and is a bit of a Dark Horse.

I think Germany will win, despite an uncharacterustally unsettled look against Portugal in the 1-0 win.

I would like England to win but we're probably about 7th or 8th in likelihood. I think we will navigate the group though, a lot of people over here seem to be overcompensating for the usual misguided optimism by saying we will be thrashed every game. I just view us a reasonably decent team and definitely mid table amongst this 16.

Italy and Russia and france all look dangerous. I dunno why but I have a feeling Spain will be out way before the final this time. It's been a terrific watch so far! Way better than south africa 2010.

Edit: as I type this Poland score with a fantastic strike. Can they come from behind? :0

I am kinda with G9 on this one, even though I watched yesterday's France-England. So I voted France, not because I think they will win (though who knows?), but to be what we have the reputation to be as far as I know: annoying. :P

*Breaks the 'don't comment if you don't care' rule*

I haven't been following it, don't usually... but having said that, did for one or two a few years ago when I was in particular countries. Not interesting enough for me really, but even if I was interested, I have no time to follow it!!

England to win ideally, but I verrrry much doubt that! XD I have no idea how good others play, so I cannot vote. Boo.

More patriotism please :P

After the match against the Netherlands yesterday a lot of people where in the streets of Mannheim celebrating. Football championship is one big party in Germany since 2006. Sometimes I think it's too much, because there are a lot of people in the streets, which don't have a clue about football.

I would prefer a match between England and Germany in the final.

Gyaaagh, oh noooo! I'm going to Mannheim next Wednesday D: I hope it's not going to be mobbed with football fans everywhere, or we're not going to get moved

Is that where the match was hosted? Or is it just happy Germany fans from Mannheim being happy?

Heh. I don't really follow football actively, myself. But I guess I'd support Germany, seen as Scotland didn't qualify XD Sorry England :P HERP DE DERP.

The Germans love a good party :D

They have been the most impressive side so far in the tournament. I will be surprised if they are not there or there about at the end.

England?

Thought they were very meh in their first game.

While a lot of people are naturally going to have no interest in the sport, it is rather trendy to go beyond snd actively dislike the national team here, one of those baseless counter-culture things I guess. Part of the problem is that comic book papers like the sun go too far with the patriotism and people who may otherwise be neutral actively express their disapproval.

They (we?) are struggling at the moment though. The manager is only into his third game and although we're looking a bit dull, we haven't had some of the outright bad performances under Capello where we resembled headless chickens. We'll see tomorrow :P

Ireland are playing a team that's a little bit good tonight. Hmm. XD

And we definitely aren't Exciting final material right now. I think Germany and Spain would be the most interesting (and a probable!) final game.

I persoanlly think the germans will go onto win the tourament last night they where in my opinon exellent against the netherlands. Russia could be a a good outside bet for the title but we shall have to wait and see.

England I think will mostly likley reach the quater finals. The game again France we were organised and looked very soild defensive, my main concern about england is that lack of a goal scorer until Rooney comes in for the Ukraine game.

There should be a British national team.

Frankly I think the current arrangement is childish so I revel in every defeat they suffer (same goes for the other three).
